Northern Railway Suspends Platform Ticket Sales at 4 Delhi Stations
Train stations can get really crowded, especially when lots of people are saying goodbye or meeting someone.
To make it easier for everyone to get on and off trains safely, the Northern Railway is stopping people from buying tickets to just stand on the platform.
This is happening at four busy stations in Delhi until November 11, 2025.
However, people who really need help, like older folks, sick people, or little kids, can still get a platform ticket if they have someone assisting them.
Northern Railway has temporarily suspended platform ticket sales at four stations in the Delhi Division.
The suspension is in effect until November 11, 2025.
This measure is implemented to manage heavy passenger traffic and ensure safety.
