Guwahati Royals captain banks on home support to end Warriors streak
In Assam, there is a cricket tournament called the Assam Premier League.
The Guwahati Royals are a cricket team, and their captain is Rishav Das.
On Monday, the Royals will play a very important match.
Their opponents are the Dibrugarh Warriors.
The Warriors have won all four of their games so far and have not lost a single match.
That is why they are at the top of the points table.
The Royals are in second place with six points.
Captain Das is playing well and has scored 123 runs this season.
He hopes fans in Guwahati will cheer loudly and help the team win.
If the Royals win, they would tie with the Warriors in points.
Guwahati Royals captain Rishav Das is counting on home support to hand Dibrugarh Warriors their first defeat of APL 2026 on Monday.
Unbeaten Dibrugarh Warriors lead the Assam Premier League standings with four wins from as many matches.
The Royals are second with six points from four games after chasing down 147 against Tezpur Titans.
Das sits fifth on the run-scoring charts with 123 runs at an average of 41 and a strike rate of 124.24.
