Vigilance Bureau Books 34 Corrupt Officials in Five Months
Imagine some grown-ups in the government were doing bad things like asking for money unfairly or using their jobs to get rich.
The Vigilance Bureau, which is like a team of super-detectives for the government, caught them.
They've already found 34 officials doing these bad things in just a few months.
Most of them were caught taking bribes, like when someone asks for money to do their job.
They are then sent to jail.
The detectives are also watching out for officials who might have too much money, probably from doing something wrong.
To help catch the bad guys, the Vigilance Bureau has made it easier for people to report them.
Vigilance bureau registered cases against 34 government officials in the first five months.
27 cases were trap cases where officials were caught taking bribes.
Rs 12.46 lakh was recovered from the trap cases.
Cases involved officials from police, revenue, and engineering departments.
Complaints can be lodged directly through a helpline or a complaint box.
