TTD Launches 10-Year Green Tirumala Hills Project

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has started a big project to make the Tirumala Hills greener and healthier.

This project will last 10 years, from 2025 to 2035.

The hills are very important for nature, water, and culture.

Right now, there are some plants that are taking over and hurting the local plants.

The TTD wants to remove these bad plants and plant more good, local plants.

They will do this in five steps.

First, they will find and remove some of the bad plants.

Then, they will plant more good plants and take care of the soil and water.

By the end, they hope to have more good plants, less bad plants, and more carbon being absorbed by the trees.

This will make the hills more beautiful and better for nature.
