Mukand Shares Rally on Rs 673 Crore Land Deal Announcement
Imagine a company called Mukand that owned a big piece of land.
They decided to sell some of it.
They made a deal to sell about 18 acres of land, plus part of a road, for a lot of money – about 673 crore rupees!
They already got some money upfront.
A company from Bengaluru is buying the land.
The price of Mukand's shares went up a lot because of this good news, nearly doubling from its lowest price in the past year.
However, selling the land won't really change how Mukand normally does business.
The deal still needs to get approved by the government.
Mukand Ltd. entered an agreement to sell land parcels in Maharashtra.
The agreement involves approximately 17.77 acres of land and rights to an access road.
The sale price is approximately Rs 673 crore, with an advance of Rs 110 crore received.
The buyer is AGP DC Infra Private Limited, based in Bengaluru.
