Ramai Awas Yojana First Instalment Doubled to ₹50,000
In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a new housing program called Ramai Awas Yojana helps people build homes.
The first payment for building a house was raised from ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 so people can start construction more easily.
The change was announced by the local guardian minister, Sanjay Shirsat, at a birthday event for the state chief minister.
Officials said they will show the list of people who can get help in public places and publish it every month to avoid confusion.
They also plan to give the second payment once construction starts, and they want the whole process to be clear and fair for everyone.
First instalment of Ramai Awas Yojana increased from ₹25,000 to ₹50,000.
Increase announced by District Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsat during Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's birthday event.
Beneficiaries will receive ₹50,000 to start house construction; second instalment to be released after construction begins.
