Heineken Loses Control of Congo Facilities Amidst Conflict

Imagine a big company that makes beer called Heineken.

They have factories in a place called the Democratic Republic of Congo, but there is a war happening there.

Because of the fighting, Heineken can't safely run their factories anymore, and they've had to stop working in some areas.

They've pulled out their workers from the cities of Bukavu and Goma because it's too dangerous, and armed people have taken over their buildings.

Even though some factories are closed, they still operate in other parts of the country.

The company's main goal is to make sure their employees are safe, and they are helping them financially.
