Mizoram Discusses Online ILP and Railway Station Security
Imagine a special permit like a permission slip that people need to enter Mizoram.
The government is making this permit system, called the Inner Line Permit (ILP), easier to use online.
They are also working on having police at the new train stations being built.
These new stations are part of a railway project.
The government wants to make sure the ILP rules are followed and that people don't stay longer than they should.
They are also encouraging local young people to join the Railway Protection Force (RPF) or the Government Railway Police (GRP) to work at the train stations.
Mizoram discussed streamlining the online Inner Line Permit (ILP) process.
The discussion was led by Mizoram CM Lalduhoma.
The meeting addressed the upcoming Bairabi-Sairang railway project and the railway police.
New ILP guidelines, additional provisions, and online ILP Phase-2 were reviewed.
