Fall 2 Deadpoint Survival Thriller Climbs High, Then Tumbles
Fall 2 Deadpoint is about two women attempting a very dangerous mountain adventure.
Jax is still upset because her sister Shiloh died during a climbing stunt.
Shiloh’s old friend Luce convinces Jax to follow Shiloh’s planned route.
The route goes around a fictional mountain in Thailand.
Much of the path is a narrow plank thousands of feet above the ground.
The movie uses ropes, hooks, oxygen tanks and other equipment to make the danger feel real.
The reviewer says the climbing scenes are tense and frightening.
However, the story becomes less believable as more surprising plot twists appear.
The review gives the film 2.5 out of 5 stars.
The sequel moves from the first film’s TV tower to fictional Mount Kwan in Thailand.
Jax, Shiloh’s guilt-ridden sister, joins Shiloh’s former friend Luce on a dangerous trek.
The route includes a 4,000-foot-high plank, rusted climbing bars, rain, earthquakes and landslides.
The film effectively creates altitude terror through detailed equipment and committed performances.
The review praises the cliffside suspense but criticizes increasingly implausible plot developments and rates it 2.5 stars.
