Dumka students' water-cleaning robot debuts at Basukinath Dham
A group of students from Dumka Engineering College in Jharkhand have created a robot that can clean water.
This robot, named 'Nature’s Revival Bot – Autonomous Water Cleaning Robot', is designed to remove floating garbage from the surface of ponds.
It uses a motor-driven track-belt conveyor system to collect waste in a net-covered bucket.
The robot is powered by a special battery system that can last up to 20 hours on a full charge.
It can be controlled remotely and can collect a lot of garbage.
The robot will be used for the first time at the Shiv Ganga pond in Basukinath Dham during a festival called Shravani Mela.
The students hope that this robot will help keep the pond clean and inspire other students to come up with new ideas.
An autonomous water-cleaning robot developed by Dumka Engineering College students will debut at Shiv Ganga pond in Basukinath Dham.
The robot uses a motor-driven track-belt conveyor system to collect floating garbage in a net-covered bucket.
It is powered by a 48-volt hybrid battery system and can operate for up to 20 hours on a full charge.
The robot can be monitored and controlled remotely and has a cleaning capacity of 8 square feet per minute.
The deployment aims to maintain cleaner surface water and inspire innovation among students.
