Drug-Addicted Son Kills Father in Bhubaneswar
A 50‑year‑old man named S Duryodhan was beaten to death by his 25‑year‑old son, S Debaraj, in Bhubaneswar.
The son was addicted to drugs and they fought over a medicine that Duryodhan mixed into a bidi.
The son attacked his father with an iron pipe and a stone.
He has a brain tumour and is now in police custody.
The police will bring him to court.
The incident happened in the Chakeisiani area, close to the Mancheswar police station.
It was the second violent crime in that area in just 24 hours.
