India Auto Industry Sees Record November Sales
In November 2025, India's auto industry had its best sales ever.
Passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers all sold more than the year before.
Passenger vehicles grew by 18.7%, two-wheelers by 21.2%, and three-wheelers by 21.3%.
Scooters and motorcycles also sold more, but mopeds and e-rickshaws sold less.
This growth happened because of the festive season and government policies that made buying vehicles cheaper.
The industry is hopeful that this growth will continue into 2026 because of these factors.
Passenger vehicle sales reached 4,12,405 units, up 18.7% year-on-year.
Two-wheeler sales totaled 19,44,475 units, marking a 21.2% year-on-year increase.
Three-wheeler sales grew by 21.3% to 71,999 units.
Scooter sales rose 29.4% year-on-year to 7,35,753 units.
Motorcycle dispatches increased 17.5% to 11,63,751 units.
