Exhibition Honors Gandhi's Final Walk Through Riot-Torn India
A special art show in Kochi, India, is paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
The show, called 'You I Could Not Save, Walk With Me,' remembers the last two years of Gandhi's life.
During this time, he traveled to places like Calcutta, Noakhali, and Bihar to try and stop the fighting between different groups.
The show includes photos, letters, videos, and poems that tell the story of Gandhi's journey.
It also talks about how he was killed by Nathuram Godse and the trial of those involved.
The artists who made the show wanted to share Gandhi's message of peace and truth, especially because they feel that today's world has a lot of hatred.
The show will be open until March 31, 2024.
