Manjhawali Bridge Work Speeds Up
A new road is being built to connect Greater Noida and Faridabad directly.
Right now, people have to take longer routes through Delhi or other busy roads, which can be slow.
The new four-lane road will go over the Manjhawali bridge and should make the trip much faster, taking less than 30 minutes.
The road will cost about Rs 66 crore to build, and most of the land needed has already been bought.
However, there are still some issues with getting the rest of the land from farmers.
Once finished, this road will help people get to work, school, and the market more easily, and it will also make it quicker to move goods between the two states.
This project is part of bigger plans to make travel easier in the area, including to the new Noida International Airport.
Construction of a four-lane approach road to the Manjhawali bridge is accelerating, aiming to reduce travel time between Greater Noida and Faridabad to under 30 minutes.
The project includes building a new approach road, strengthening existing stretches, and adding better drainage and safety features at an estimated cost of Rs 66 crore.
Land acquisition is a major hurdle, with 70% of the required land already acquired and ongoing talks with farmers for the remaining land.
Completion of the road is expected within a year, pending no major delays, and will improve east-west connectivity across the NCR.
The project will benefit residential and industrial areas, boost real estate demand, and facilitate easier access for villages along the Yamuna belt.
