India Strengthens Naval Power with Submarines
India is getting a new nuclear submarine called 'Aridaman' next year.
This is their third one, and they already have two others named 'INS Arihant' and 'INS Arighat'.
These submarines can carry nuclear missiles and are powered by nuclear engines, which makes them very powerful.
India is also planning to lease another submarine called 'Chakra III' from Russia for 10 years, starting in 2027 or 2028.
This is important because it helps India be ready to defend itself if there's a nuclear attack.
The Navy Chief also talked about how India's actions, like Operation Sindoor, made it hard for Pakistan's ships to travel and increased insurance costs, which hurt Pakistan's economy.
On Navy Day, India will show off its strong navy with big ships and planes to celebrate its bravery and power.
India will commission its third nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, 'Aridaman', in 2024.
India plans to lease the nuclear attack submarine 'Chakra III' from Russia for 10 years, starting in 2027 or 2028.
The fourth nuclear-powered submarine, codenamed S-4, is expected to be commissioned in 2027.
India already has two operational nuclear submarines, 'INS Arihant' and 'INS Arighat', establishing its nuclear triad.
Operation Sindoor disrupted Pakistan's trade and increased insurance costs for ships, forcing the Pakistan Navy to stay close to their ports.
