Odisha Police Drafts Plan to Tackle Maoist Activities in Rourkela
Police in Odisha are making a new plan to stop Maoists, who are like a group of people causing trouble.
This is because some bombs went off on train tracks near where Odisha and Jharkhand meet.
One of the bombs hurt some railway workers.
The police plan to add more security, make new camps, and work with police from Jharkhand.
They hope to make the area safer and stop the trouble caused by the Maoists.
Odisha Police created a ‘blueprint’ to address Maoist activity in Rourkela.
This follows three IED blasts on railway tracks along the Odisha-Jharkhand border.
One blast in Sundargarh district killed a railway worker and injured another.
The last Maoist incident in Rourkela police district was reported in 2018.
