IAS Officer First to Lead Maharashtra State Board
For the first time, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer has been chosen to lead the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE).
This board is in charge of important exams for classes 10 and 12.
Before this, only state civil service officers held this position.
