AC Locals Replaced by Non-AC Trains on Harbour Line
On Sunday, a technical problem was found in one part of an AC train on the Harbour Line in Mumbai.
Because of safety rules, the whole AC train was taken out of service and sent for repairs.
To keep things running smoothly, the railway officials replaced the AC trains with regular, non-AC trains for seven services.
This affected trains going between Panvel and CSMT, CSMT and Panvel, and CSMT and Vashi.
Passengers who were expecting AC trains had to travel in regular trains instead.
The faulty train will be fixed and checked before it is used again.
Technical fault detected in one unit of AC rake on Harbour Line.
Seven AC local services replaced with non-AC trains as a safety measure.
Affected routes include Panvel-CSMT, CSMT-Panvel, and CSMT-Vashi.
Defective rake withdrawn and sent to car shed for repairs.
