Favourable views of US decline in India: Survey

A survey by the Pew Research Centre found that fewer Indians have a good opinion of the US and its president, Donald Trump, compared to last year.

Only 45% of Indians view the US positively, down from 54%.

Many Indians also don't trust Trump to make the right decisions for the world.

Interestingly, more Indians trust Russia's President Putin than Trump.

The survey also showed that people in many countries, including Pakistan, have a negative view of the US and Trump.

Globally, opinions about the US have worsened, and more people now have a positive view of China.
