Bhopal Launches Shikara Service in Upper Lake
The government of Madhya Pradesh has started a new boat service called shikara in Bhopal's Upper Lake.
These boats are like the ones you see in Kashmir's Dal Lake.
There are 20 new boats that have special features like places to sit comfortably, watch birds, eat local food, and even buy handmade things and fresh fruits and vegetables.
The boats are made with special materials that are safe for the lake and do not pollute the water.
This is the first time so many shikaras are being used in Madhya Pradesh, and it is hoped that this will make the state famous for water tourism.
