9.5-Foot Crocodile Rescued from Bullet Train Project Site
Imagine a big construction project for a fast train was digging a deep hole for a pillar.
A big alligator, about as long as a small car, fell into that hole!
Luckily, a kind person who helps animals got a call.
They brought special equipment, like a crane, to carefully lift the alligator out of the deep hole.
This is the second time in a month that an animal has been found in trouble at this train construction site.
A 9.5-foot crocodile was rescued from a construction site for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor.
The crocodile was found trapped in a 30-foot deep pit of an under-construction pillar.
The rescue operation took place in Maretha village near Vadodara.
Wildlife activist Hemant Vadhwana was involved in the rescue.
A crane was used to lift the crocodile out of the deep trench.
