In 2026, the leader of the state of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, held a big ceremony in the city of Lucknow.

At the ceremony, he thanked the families of soldiers who gave their lives to keep the country safe.

Some soldiers received special medals, like the Shaurya Chakra, for being very brave.

The Chief Minister also gave respect to the parents, wives and brothers of these brave soldiers.

This made the families feel that the brave actions of their loved ones were remembered.
