West Bengal Students May Get Four-Day Vishwakarma Puja Break
Vishwakarma Puja will happen around September 17 or 18, 2026.
Different places may celebrate it on different days.
September 17 is a Thursday, and September 18 is a Friday.
The next two days are Saturday and Sunday.
If a school or college gives one of those festival days off, students could have four days without regular classes.
This possibility is especially important in West Bengal.
However, not every state or institution will provide the same holiday.
Students should check their school, college, university, or state education department notice.
Vishwakarma Puja 2026 may be observed on September 17 or 18, depending on regional timings and practices.
Because September 17 is Thursday and September 18 is Friday, a declared holiday could create a break through Sunday, September 20.
The possible four-day break is especially relevant in West Bengal, where the festival is widely observed.
The break is not nationwide and depends on state holiday calendars and individual institutions’ academic schedules.
Students should check official notices from their institutions or state education departments before assuming classes are suspended.
