Bengaluru Realtor Pays Road Tax on Celebrity-Owned Rolls-Royces
Imagine someone buying fancy cars from famous people like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.
This person, in Bengaluru, was using these cars, but the cars were registered in another state.
The government said, "If you use the car here, you need to pay taxes here too."
The person didn't realize this and got a visit from the tax people, who explained the rule.
They then paid almost 40 lakh rupees in taxes to make things right.
Bengaluru realtor Yusuf Sharif, known as KGF Babu, was made to pay Rs 38.3 lakh in road tax.
