Stray Dogs Captured with Barbed Wire in Tadigadapa
In a place called Tadigadapa, some people used iron and barbed wires to catch about 15 stray dogs.
This is not the right way to catch dogs, as it hurts them.
The people who did this were hired by the local government.
Animal lovers are upset because they say the dogs might be killed instead of being taken to a safe place.
They also say the government is not following the rules set by the highest court in the country.
One of the animal lovers even went to the police to report this and asked them to punish the people who did this.
Nearly 15 stray dogs were captured using iron and barbed wires in Mahadevapuram Colony, Kanuru, Tadigadapa Municipal limits.
The capture allegedly violated animal welfare norms and Supreme Court directives for humane capture, vaccination, and sterilization.
Private persons were hired by the Tadigadapa municipal authorities to catch the dogs, causing severe pain and injuries.
Animal rights activists allege that the dogs were illegally killed under the guise of relocation and that no action was taken by the municipal commissioner.
A complaint was lodged at the Penamaluru police station seeking an inquiry and strict action against those involved.
