Man Arrested in Road Rage Incident Involving UP Minister's Convoy
Imagine a minister in Uttar Pradesh was traveling in his cars on Thursday night.
A car kept trying to pass the minister's cars and then suddenly stopped in front of them.
The people in that car started yelling and hitting the minister's car.
The minister told his driver to quickly drive away and called the police.
Police found the car and detained its owner, Ankit Mishra.
Two other people, Shubham Soni and Pankaj Agrahari, who were in the car, ran away and the police are looking for them.
A case has been filed, and the car was taken by the police.
The police are investigating why this happened, but it seems to be related to the car trying to overtake the minister's convoy.
The convoy of Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Social Welfare, Sanjeev Singh Gond, was involved in a road rage incident near Robertsganj, Sonbhadra.
The minister reported that a car repeatedly overtook his convoy and then intercepted his vehicle, with its occupants allegedly hurling abuses and striking his car.
Ankit Mishra, the owner of the car, has been detained, while Shubham Soni and Pankaj Agrahari, who were also in the car, are absconding.
Police have seized the vehicle and registered a case based on a complaint filed by District Panchayat Member Representative Sanjeev Tiwari.
