36th Vijayawada Book Festival from January 2

The 36th Vijayawada Book Festival will be held from January 2 to January 12 at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium.

The festival will feature a variety of literary programs, including sessions on different genres of literature and centenary celebrations of notable authors.

Chief Secretary K Vijayanand will be the chief guest at the inaugural function.

A special 'Walk for Books' event is also planned for January 6.

The organizers are grateful to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for allowing the festival to be held at the stadium, an initiative started by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan last year.
