BJP MLA Criticizes Bhogapuram Airport Connectivity
A BJP leader in Visakhapatnam said that the new Bhogapuram airport might not be very useful because it's hard to get there from the city.
He suggested that it's easier to take a fast train to Vijayawada than to go to the new airport and then fly to Vijayawada.
He also said that the current Visakhapatnam airport should not be closed.
Many people are talking about his ideas.
BJP MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju criticized the lack of infrastructure for Bhogapuram International Airport.
He suggested that traveling to Vijayawada by Vande Bharat train is easier than flying from Bhogapuram.
Raju proposed introducing two additional Vande Bharat trains for better connectivity.
He argued against closing the existing Visakhapatnam airport.
The remarks were made during a district review committee meeting in Visakhapatnam.
