Omkara ARC Acquires Wind World India's Debt
Omkara ARC, related to Areion Group, bought Wind World India's debt from NARCL.
This debt was originally ₹3,763 crore, and Omkara ARC invested ₹1,225 crore.
This gives Omkara ARC control in deciding WWIL's financial future.
WWIL, formerly known as Enercon India, manages wind energy projects.
Because the previous plan to fix the debt was withdrawn, new proposals will be sought, allowing for new investment and business revival of the bankrupt company.
This could help improve the renewable energy sector.
