PRSI Awards Honor GVMC and Hyderabad Chapter
The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) and the Hyderabad Chapter of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) both won big awards at a national event in Dehradun.
GVMC got three awards for using social media really well to tell people about city services and important programs.
The Hyderabad Chapter won the Best Chapter Award for their great work.
The event was about how to grow and keep traditions alive.
Important people like the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and other leaders gave out the awards.
Both GVMC and the Hyderabad Chapter said they couldn't have done it without the support of the people and their leaders.
They promised to keep doing good work and improving their services.
GVMC won three PRSI National Awards 2025 at the 47th All India Public Relations Conference in Dehradun.
The Hyderabad Chapter of PRSI won the PRSI Best Chapter Award 2025 at the same conference.
The awards were presented by prominent figures including the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Forest.
GVMC received the first prize for the Best Use of Social Media in a Corporate Campaign.
The conference saw participation from over 300 delegates representing nearly 25 PRSI chapters across India.
