Lokesh Credits NRI Support for TD’s Return to Power
Nara Lokesh said people from the Telugu community living abroad helped the Telugu Desam Party return to power in Andhra Pradesh.
He said many NRIs supported the Amaravati movement and party president Chandrababu Naidu during a difficult period.
Supporters held protests and solidarity events in many cities around the world.
Some NRIs returned to Andhra Pradesh, took time off work and campaigned before the 2024 elections.
Lokesh said the party gave opportunities to seven NRIs in those elections.
He praised NRIs for helping their home state and supporting Telugu language and communities.
He asked them to encourage companies to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
He also asked them to strengthen party committees and work toward the NDA’s success in 2029.

Lokesh said seven NRIs received Telugu Desam opportunities in the 2024 elections, while Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar became a Union minister.
He urged NRIs to promote Andhra Pradesh, attract investment and participate actively in the state’s development.
Lokesh called for expanded NRI TD committees, stronger outreach to neutral voters and support for the NDA in the 2029 elections.
