Telangana to Add Nine Critical Care Blocks
The Telangana state health department is setting up nine new Critical Care Blocks (CCBs) across the state.
These are special hospitals with 50 beds each, designed to handle serious emergencies like accidents, heart problems, and brain issues.
Right now, four CCBs are already working in Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad.
The new ones are almost ready and should start helping patients by January.
The goal is to make sure people in these areas get quick and good medical care without having to travel far.
Once all 31 planned CCBs are open, it should help more people survive emergencies and reduce the need to go to big city hospitals.
Telangana is adding nine new Critical Care Blocks (CCBs) at a cost of ₹28 crore each.
These CCBs are part of a plan to set up 31 such facilities across the state.
Currently, four CCBs are operational in Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad.
The new CCBs are expected to start operations in the first week of January.
Each CCB is a 50-bed advanced emergency care facility designed to handle trauma, cardiac, and neurological emergencies.
