Stunt Double Devyn Dalton Praised by Matt Damon for Muscular Arms
A stuntwoman named Devyn Dalton, who is 4 feet 6 inches tall, helped the famous actor Matt Damon in a big movie called The Odyssey.
She had very strong arms, so when she stood in for Damon in a scary scene with giant cannibals, the actors looked smaller and the scene looked realistic.
Matt Damon liked her arms so much that he told a podcast that they were the best he had ever seen.
Devyn trained for months with martial arts, dance, yoga, and weight lifting to get ready for the job.
Because of Matt’s praise, many people online started talking about how stuntwomen should get more recognition for their strength and skill.
Canadian stuntwoman Devyn Dalton doubled for Matt Damon in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
Dalton’s muscular arms impressed Damon, who praised her as having “the greatest arms I’ve ever seen.”
The stunt double was required for a scene with the giant Laestrygonians, where actors of short stature were needed.
Dalton trained with Muay Thai, jiu‑jitsu, dance, yoga and strength workouts for months in Scotland.
The praise sparked online calls for greater recognition of stuntwomen’s physical abilities.
