Dunzo Enters Insolvency After Financial Struggles
Imagine a company called Dunzo that was like a super-fast delivery service.
They tried to deliver things quickly, but they had a hard time making money.
Even though they got a lot of money from big companies, they still had a lot of problems.
They couldn't keep up with their competitors who were doing a better job.
The company lost a lot of money, and some of the investors had to write off a lot of their investment.
Also, they had to pay a lot of money to different companies, like Google and Facebook.
Because of all of these problems, the company has now entered insolvency, which means it can't pay its debts.
Dunzo, a hyperlocal delivery startup, has entered insolvency.
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) initiated the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
The company raised $485 million from investors including Reliance Retail.
Dunzo's pivot to quick commerce failed to compete with rivals.
