PM Modi to Visit Japan, China for Key Summits
Prime Minister Modi is going on a trip to Japan and China!
First, he'll meet Japan's leader to talk about working together on things like defense and trade.
Then, he'll go to China for a big meeting called the SCO Summit, which is like a club of countries.
He will meet with the Chinese president, too.
This all happens after the US put extra taxes on Indian imports.
PM Modi will visit Japan from August 29-30 for the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit.
He will meet with Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba to discuss partnerships.
PM Modi will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China from August 31 to September 1.
The SCO Summit visit is at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The visit comes after US President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on Indian imports.
