BJP pledges drug-free Punjab by 2029 if elected in 2027
Tarun Chugh said the BJP wants to make Punjab free of synthetic drugs called ‘chitta’.
He said this would happen by December 31, 2029, if the BJP wins the 2027 state election.
The party would target not only drug sellers but also the larger supply network.
Chugh said people involved in trafficking should face legal action and imprisonment.
He also called for better use of existing drug laws.
