IRCTC's Sapt Jyotirlinga Mahayatra: 11-Day Train Tour From Delhi

A special train trip called the Sapt Jyotirlinga Mahayatra is being offered by IRCTC, the group that runs Indian train travel.

The trip lasts 11 days and starts and ends in Delhi.

It visits holy places in three states: Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The main goal is to visit seven very special Shiva temples known as Jyotirlingas.

Travelers will see famous temples like Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Nageshwar and Bhimashankar.

They will also visit other famous places, such as the Dwarkadhish Temple, Somnath and the Kailasa Temple at Ellora.

The train is an air-conditioned tourist train with cabins, restaurants serving vegetarian food, and tour managers.

The trip also includes hotel stays, meals, sightseeing and travel insurance.

The price starts at Rs 88,810 per person and can go up to Rs 1,34,255.

The government gives a discount of about 33%, so the trip costs less than it otherwise would.
