India and China Work to Address Trade Imbalance, Supply Chains

India and China buy and sell many goods to each other.

India currently buys much more from China than it sells there.

This difference is called a trade imbalance.

Indian officials want more Indian products to be sold in China.

The two countries are discussing ways to make trade more balanced.

They are also looking at problems involving supply chains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping discussed these issues at a meeting in New Delhi.

More talks are expected as both sides try to improve their economic relationship.
