Kishan Reddy Thanks Modi for Boosting Telangana Rice Procurement
Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi for increasing rice procurement from Telangana by 8 Lakh Metric Tonnes for the Rabi season 2025–26.
This decision will help Telangana's farmers by increasing paddy procurement by 12 LMT.
Kishan Reddy also urged the Telangana government to fulfill its pending commitments from previous seasons to support farmers and the Public Distribution System.
