Kovvur-Bhadrachalam Railway Line Project Approved, DPR Ready
Imagine a new train track being built!
This one will connect two places, Kovvur and Bhadrachalam, over a long distance.
It will cost a lot of money, almost 1700 crore rupees.
Once it's finished, it'll make traveling from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad much shorter, saving about 100 kilometers.
People in the areas where the train will pass through have been waiting for this for years.
The government is planning to start work soon, after the plan has been checked and approved.
The entire cost will be paid by the railway department.
Detailed project report (DPR) is complete for the Kovvur-Bhadrachalam railway line.
The railway line will span 118.9 km and cost ₹1695.71 crore.
The route will connect Kovvur to Bhadrachalam via Sathupalli.
Completion of the line will reduce the distance from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad by about 100 km.
Eluru MP Mahesh Yadav has raised the issue and requested to expedite works.
