Grant Road Station to Open with Metro-3 Inauguration
The Grant Road Metro station is ready to open!
This new station is part of the Mumbai Metro-3, an underground train line.
The entire line, connecting Colaba to Bandra SEEPZ, will be open by October 8.
The new line will link people to many places like schools, hospitals, and markets.
This helps people get around South Mumbai more quickly and easily.
It should also make traffic less busy.
Grant Road Metro Station's interior images have been released before its opening.
The station is part of the Mumbai Metro-3 Aqua Line.
The final stretch, connecting Worli and Cuffe Parade, is set to be inaugurated on October 8.
The 33.5-km-long line will be Mumbai’s first fully underground metro corridor.
The Metro-3 will integrate with existing suburban rail lines, easing pressure on current transport.
