Oli's Party Holds Biggest Nepal Rally
A big rally happened in Nepal for the party of a former prime minister named KP Sharma Oli.
It was the largest gathering since young people protested against the government a few months ago.
The protests were about corruption and caused many problems, including deaths and injuries.
The rally was to show support for Oli's party and to choose a new leader.
Oli says the government did something wrong by ending the parliament, and his party is asking the courts to fix it.
Many people came to the rally to support Oli, and he will compete with another leader to be the party's president again.
Tens of thousands attended a rally for KP Sharma Oli's party in Bhaktapur, the largest since anti-graft protests.
Police estimated 70,000 attendees, with organizers initially expecting 300,000.
The rally launched a three-day convention for the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist).
Oli claims the dissolution of parliament is unconstitutional and his party has filed a petition with the Supreme Court.
Oli faces a challenge from his deputy, Ishwar Pokharel, in the party president election on Monday.
