Rajasthan Approves Rampura School Building After CJP Campaign

Rajasthan Approves Rampura School Building After CJP Campaign

A primary school near Jaipur had an old building that officials said was unsafe.

The Rajasthan government approved ₹18 lakh to build a new one.

Work is expected to start on September 1, 2026.

The school has 18 children and two teachers.

Officials had suggested moving the children to another village, but local residents objected.

Classes were then held in temporary places inside the village.

The Cockroach Janta Party said its campaign helped draw attention to the school’s problems.

The party and villagers gave different accounts of a confrontation, and police registered complaints from both sides.
