Louvre tightens security after $102 million jewel heist
The Louvre Museum in Paris is adding new security measures after a big theft happened in October.
Thieves broke in through a window, took jewels worth $102 million, and got away quickly.
Now, the museum is putting up metal bars on the windows, adding more cameras, and having police around to keep everything safe.
They are also fixing other problems like leaks and weak structures.
The jewels are still missing, and police are looking for the thieves.
The Louvre Museum installed metal security bars on the balcony window used in the October 19 heist.
Thieves stole crown jewels worth an estimated $102 million in a less than 7-minute break-in.
The museum is adding 100 more cameras and a mobile police squad to enhance security.
Eight suspects have been identified, but the jewels remain missing.
The heist exposed security gaps, including inadequate camera coverage and structural weaknesses.
