The Uttarakhand government is asking Dehradun's District Magistrate, Savin Bansal, why he may have not followed the proper rules when the Speaker of the Lok Sabha visited.
The Speaker's office claims the DM didn't provide the proper respect or answer calls, leading to a formal inquiry by the government.
The Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, visited Mussoorie via Dehradun on June 12.
The Ministry of Personnel is also involved.
