AP Distributes NTR Bharosa Pensions Early
The Andhra Pradesh government gave out special money called NTR Bharosa pensions to people who need help a day earlier than usual.
This is because New Year's Day is a holiday, and they wanted to make sure everyone gets their money on time and to spread some holiday cheer.
A lot of money, ₹2,743 crore, is being given to over 63 lakh people.
The government workers will bring the money to the homes of the people who need it.
The Chief Minister, who usually gives out the first pension every month, is on a trip and will be back soon.
The government has spent over ₹50,000 crore on pensions since it started.
In Vijayawada, officials like the Collector and the Municipal Commissioner made sure the money was given out correctly and checked with the people to make sure everything was going smoothly.
Andhra Pradesh government distributed NTR Bharosa pensions a day early on December 31st as a New Year gesture.
₹2,743 crore allocated for 63.12 lakh beneficiaries across the state.
Pensions delivered directly to beneficiaries' homes by secretariat staff.
