Chaos Erupts at Messi's Kolkata Event
Lionel Messi, a famous football player, visited Kolkata as part of his GOAT India Tour 2025.
Many fans paid a lot of money to see him, but they were very disappointed because Messi only stayed for a short time and was surrounded by important people.
This made the fans angry, and they started throwing things and breaking seats.
The police had to control the crowd, and the organizer of the event was arrested.
The government said they will give the money back to the fans and will investigate what went wrong.
Messi will continue his tour in other cities, but the event in Kolkata was a big mess.
Lionel Messi's event in Kolkata turned chaotic as fans felt cheated by his brief appearance and VIP-centric arrangement.
Fans vandalized the Salt Lake Stadium, leading to police intervention and the arrest of the event organizer, Satadru Dutta.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee apologized and ordered an inquiry into the mismanagement.
Organizers agreed to refund ticket prices, and the government formed a committee to investigate the incident.
Messi's tour will continue to Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi, with heightened scrutiny and security measures.
