Philippine Bank BDO Expects Sustained Earnings Despite Tariffs

The bank's CEO, Nestor Tan, said that while things might slow down, the bank should still do well.
They made a lot of money in the first half of the year, and they expect to keep doing well.
They are also planning to lower interest rates which might affect how much money they make.
The bank is hoping that more people will borrow money, which will help offset the impact of lower interest rates.
