Rajasthan Seeks Approval for Drone Cloud Seeding Experiment
Scientists in Rajasthan are trying to make it rain by using special drones.
They want to fly these drones very high up to seed the clouds, like putting tiny helpers in the clouds to make rain.
The goal is to bring rain to the Ramgarh Dam, which has been dry for a long time.
This is a new idea, as this is the first time this method is being tried with drones in the country.
The project team needs permission to fly the drones so they can start the process.
So far, their tests haven't worked yet, but they are still trying.
Rajasthan Agriculture Minister seeks permission to use drones for cloud seeding.
The drones are planned to fly at a height of 10,000 meters.
The project aims to induce artificial rain over the dry Ramgarh Dam.
This is the first time drones will be used for cloud seeding in India.
