Panaji Smart City Opens Road After Delay, Work Incomplete
Imagine Panaji Smart City has opened a 200-meter road in Tonca after four years, which was meant to improve the city.
Even though the road is open, it's not completely finished.
Some footpaths are missing paving stones, and there are open pits and construction materials around.
The company says the road uses strong concrete and has footpaths.
They believe the new road will make it easier to drive, improve drainage, and be safer for everyone.
A new sewage line was also installed, and once connected, the old line will be removed.
A 200-meter road stretch in Tonca, part of the Smart City Mission, has been opened after a four-year delay.
Footpaths on the road are incomplete with paver blocks yet to be placed.
Open pits, gravel, and construction materials are still visible along the stretch.
The IPSCDL says the road construction at St Inez is complete and met the May 31 deadline.
The new sewerage line is not yet connected to the Tonca STP.
